Whatsapp Latest Update Introduces Redesigned Icons in Attachment Menu

WhatsApp, the popular messaging app, has rolled out a new update that brings a fresh look to its attachment menu. The latest update introduces redesigned icons for attachments, aiming to enhance the overall user experience. The latest update introduces a squircle icons in the attachment sheet.

To access this feature, you need to update your whatsapp to version 2.25.1.75 or 2.25.1.76, which available on Google Play store.When you've updated your whatsapp, click on the paperclip icon in a chat, when the attachment icon pops out notice the icons have ditched their old round design for squircles(i.e a squared-off icons with rounded edges).

These new icons are designed to be more intuitive and visually appealing, making it easier for users to navigate and share files. Interestingly, Whatsapp started developing this redesign during WhatsApp's development phase in 2023. The design reappeared repeatedly, with the last confirmed sighting from WABetaInfo in version 2.24.21.29 in October last year.
